Rich’s White Bread Dough

Features: Traditional white bread loaf. Proof-and-bake format.
Preparation and Cooking: Baking – 1.PLACE FROZEN DOUGH IN GREASED BREAD PANS (STRAP PANS) AND PLACE INTO RETARDER OVERNIGHT. COVER WITH PLASTIC. 2. REMOVE PRODUCT FROM RETARDER AND PLACE IN PROOF BOX. 3. PROOF UNTIL PAN IS FILLED AND CROWN OF LOAF IS ABOVE SIDE OF PAN. 4. BAKE AT 400 F FOR APPROXIMATELY 25-30 MINUTES OR UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN. 5. REMOVE FROM PANS IMMEDIATLEY. 6. LET BREADS COOL ON WIRE RACK. 7. SLICE AND PACKAGE WHEN COOL.
Serving Suggestions: Brush with garlic oil and top with dried onion flakes
Storage: Keep frozen until required

Bourbon Balls (1 of 1)

I made these Bourbon Balls last year as gifts for my family and friends and they were a hit. So I made them again this year! They are easy to make, keep for weeks in your fridge and are nice and bourbon-ey! So make sure that you like bourbon and do not eat them all in one sitting! ‘Tis the Season

Note: You may want to half the recipe so that you don’t have so many balls!

Yield 22 Dozen
Ingredients
12 cups crushed vanilla wafers (980010, 2/2#, Nilla)
3/4 cup dark corn syrup (992600, 6/32oz, Karo)
6 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder (993053, 50#, Gerkens)
4 1/4 cups powdered sugar, divided (NSU2450, 50#)
4 3/4 cups chopped pecans, divided (992506, 2/5#)
3 cups bourbon, such as Old Grand Dad’s or Wild Turkey

Method
Mix vanilla wafers, corn syrup, cocoa powder, 4 cups powdered sugar, 4 cups pecans and bourbon. Refrigerate at least 12 hours.

Shape into balls. Pulverize remaining ¾ cup pecans and sift in remaining ¼ cup powdered sugar. Mix together and roll bourbon balls in mixture.

Keep refrigerated and enjoy
